The first day of school for 2019 will be in a couple days. Here's a look back at what we've accomplished already, and we are only halfway through the school year. Looking forward to a wonderful and productive 2019 with the Marguerita community!
- We raised a little over $250 in Box Tops already, more than double what was raised in the entire 2017-2018 school year! Remember to continue to clip Box Tops because the class contest is ongoing, with the next submission in mid-February.
- We added the year round Scrip gift card fundraiser. Our first orders raised about $260!
- We held our first Used Book Sale, and raised more than $200 for the library.
- We SOLD OUT at the Santa's Secret Shop in a day and a half. Please help us next year with more donations of gifts to sell and volunteering your time. The kids had fun shopping!
- We've had 159 members sign up for PTA membership. We're still a little short of our goal of 200 members. It's still not too late to join!
- We signed up with Ralphs Community Rewards to earn rebates while you shop. Please register your Ralphs Rewards card today!
- We started communicating to you via Facebook and Instagram, and have over 100 posts and more than 120 followers! We also created a blog and e-newsletter to keep you informed. Please keep spreading the word!
- We raised over $28K in our first Jog-A-Thon. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time! Please congratulate yourselves for a great community event!
