Buying gift cards for teachers, grads, dads, family or friends? Please consider buying them from the PTA and helping teachers earn cash rebates! Orders are due Friday May 3rd!
Two ways to shop:
1. Make your gift card selections online and print out your order to submit with your payment. (If you have not bought gift cards through Shop With Scrip before, instructions on how to enroll are here.)
OR
2. Complete the paper form and turn it in with payment to the front office, your child's HR teacher, or bring it to our table at Benito gate. We'll be there on Tuesday and Wednesday morning (weather permitting)!
Remember PTA will NOT be keeping the rebates. All rebates earned will go directly to your child's teacher!

School Library Books 📚 Reminder
A reminder from our librarian:
The class library visits will be done for the year as of May 6 so I can start the end of year inventory and procedures.
This would be a good time to remind parents to be on the look out for any books that have the Marguerita Library stamp and barcode on them and return them to school. It will help to minimize the Overdue Books Report for the end of year.
The last day to turn in overdue books will be May 10. Parents will be billed the cost to purchase a replacement for any books not returned and students will not receive final report cards until the balance is paid.

Ralph Breaks the Internet
Join us on Friday May 3 for a Family Movie Night! The movie will be Ralph Breaks the Internet. A chance for the kids to have fun and unwind after SBAC tests. Adults enjoy the movie too! Admission is free, and here's your chance to redeem your Snack Pack coupon that you earned from the Jog-a-thon. Pizza and snacks will be on sale at 5 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Movie will start at 5:30 p.m. No food or drinks allowed in the auditorium, so come early to eat or snack before the movie!

LCAP Survey Due April 15
Complete 2019-2020 LCAP Survey now through April 15, 2019! It's available in English, Chinese, and Spanish.
If you want the district to budget for our Marguerita library to be open for 6 hours a day (from our current 3 hours a day), be sure to include "Increase library aide" under Goal 2.

Less than 2 months left before we break for summer. Yearbooks for 6-8th graders are available for purchase now! Price is $35 each. Cash, check (made payable to Marguerita School), and credit card (online) accepted. Cash and checks can be turned in to your child's homeroom teacher.
